And thanks to those who encourage others to do the same.<\/h3><h3>Whether you are driving, walking, biking, or jogging, please remember that our roads are shared by ALL!\u00a0 Please respect one another and obey the rules of the road!<\/h3><h3>We don&#8217;t want to see innocent people hurt while enjoying our beautiful nature. If we need to call the proper enforcement authorities, we will.<\/h3><h2>For Pedestrians<\/h2><ul><li><h3>Walk on the left side of the road so that cars aren\u2019t coming up behind you.<\/h3><\/li><li><h3>Make sure drivers see you before you cross the road. If the driver is stopped, make eye contact before you step out.<\/h3><\/li><li><h3>Wear bright or light-coloured clothing or reflective strips, especially at dusk or after dark.<\/h3><\/li><li><h3>Watch for traffic turning at intersections or turning into and leaving driveways.<\/h3><\/li><li><h3>Leash-walk your dog.<\/h3><\/li><\/ul><h2>For Drivers \u2013 Trucks, Cars, Motorcycles, Snowmobiles and Off-Road Vehicles<\/h2><ul><li><h3>Be alert. Look out for pedestrians, especially when turning and going around corners and over hills.<\/h3><\/li><li><h3>Watch for children, dogs, bikes, and wildlife.<\/h3><\/li><li><h3>Stay within the 30-kilometer speed limit posted on signs along all roads. Drive at a speed that will let you stop safely, whether roads are wet or dry.<\/h3><\/li><\/ul><h2>For Cyclists<\/h2><ul><li><h3>A bicycle is a vehicle, just like a car or truck and cyclists are obliged to follow the same rules of the road.<\/h3><\/li><li><h3>Ride on the right and stay close to the right edge of the road whenever possible.<\/h3><\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sharing the Roads Thanks to all the drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists everyone else who help keep safe us and our roadways clean.
